Well, I grew up and I know that's pretty simplistic, but a cop, police officer's  employing  department is judged by the public as only as good as the lowest common denominator (police officer) which is the worst police officer.

The Good...

Bike path rapist Murderer lives in Cheektowaga, Amherst police on scene with Cheektowaga police. Perp Identified by DNA. 

 It looks like the perp is at 76 Allendale Rd Cheektowaga NY on Direct TV ,good Picture I can read the address and they said the street on another channel.

You want to know the freaky thing. I've delivered Pizza to that house actually to that guy.

 It's down the street from the Sunoco on Cleveland Dr and Harlem rd that I reported to the FBI that Arabs where talking about crashing planes into the world trade center on the re-sentencing date of the trade center 1993 bombing mastermind. It was  October 1999 when I reported them, 3 years before 9/11.

I know that warning went un-heeded .

I actually took money from the alleged killer, rapist hands a bunch of times, but there is no way that I would have ever put him as the bike path rapist or did I?

If this guy had garrotes around his house or garage, or what not, and I saw them there in 1999,I would have reported him to the police then.( If I did and don't remember and I left my name or other identifying info, and the cops on this case came across it, their minds would be blown). I remember knowing someone with a garrote fascination and I might have contributed it  to someone else that I knew a few years before recently while thinking and trying to piece it together in my mind, so I would have reported the wrong person now.

None of the pictures the police put out looked like this guy at all, he looks more like a Pilipino than anything else. They where saying white man and the pictures where saying native American, Italian or Pakistani or Indian from India in some of the pictures.

1999 was when I owned my Pizzeria with my  partner. In fact I delivered to the Rapist and to a Red head woman who was a collage student and a stripper at what is now Rick's Talley Ho, she lived just down the from him street close to the corner, they both ordered  all the time, I talked to my brother that is in Seattle now and he remembers the guy too after seeing his picture. Well this is all some stuff to ponder, cog in the universe and all that kind of deep stuff...

Great work this time around guys, all departments involved!

All you can do is keep trying your best and when it comes together you know there was nothing more that could have been done in the past 20 yrs! (If you don't try your best everyday, that is another story.)

I'm still going to say good work this time all Police Officers Involved.

 Amherst Police Chief says great team work, state police say old fashion police work and modern technology. Sheriff Howard  says Al Sanchez 76 Allendale Rd Cheektowaga, NY 14215-1865  was identified by three separate units the most likely person about 10 days ago almost at the same time. Amherst police had looked at him in the past, FBI profiler said man would have went to prostitutes, DA says statue of limitations has run out on most of the cases, so Joanne Diver case will be first charged and prosecuted.

I do have a question though. If you had this guy and a bunch of other guys as suspects. Wouldn't you have taken pictures of all suspects throw a couple dummy pictures of cops in with them and present them all to the victims and ask them if there is anyone in the pictures that look like your attacker. I remember when I had to go thru mug books. I would narrow down pictures that look like the guy that Rob the store, but say looks like him but isn't. Then they had about 12 pictures of guys that looked like the perp. After the detective working the case looked at mug shots back at the station and put a book of about 200 people that looked like that guy and I picked the guy out the second time he did this. The guy confessed and got 20 yrs.

I guess that's what they did but instead of taking pictures they followed suspects this time and got their DNA when the suspects left it on glasses at restaurants and because it has gotten so easy and fast to type DNA in 2007 they where able to nail this g

The Bad...

I have said it before that Judges that let child predators go with just probation should be looked at themselves as having the same sick tendencies as those they let go and should not be re-elected or appointed to the bench. Guess what? Sickenly according to the Dateline MSNBC almost all of the people arrested on their show to catch a predator except those arrested in Georgia, one person got 5yrs in prison and 25yrs probation,( wow that should make even the sickest predator think twice and move out of that state to California) got sentences of less that a year or straight probation. In California and other states and even Ohio by Judges ignored what prosecutors, the public and law makers everywhere  and in Ohio want in sentencing these child sex predators.

The only Guys who should have been considered for probation are the early 20 something's guys that admit to still being virgins and showed up looking to lose their virginity to another virgin. It would be cruel and unusual punishment to sentence a guy to prison where he would lose his virginity to another prisoner not by choice and be labeled a sex predator for the rest of his life when he was still a virgin and never had sex before being caught by Dateline.

Then there are the states where the age of consent is 16yrs old- Nevada, 17 yrs- NY, MD, & other states. Men could have sex and date girls under 18 in these states, but if that same guy sent the girl he had sex with a nude photo of him, or anyone under 19, he could go to jail for emailing that picture under federal statues and state laws, or if he arranged to meet that same person in another state on vacation. If he happens to be a  school teacher even a collage professor he could go to jail for having sex with a 21 yr old in the state that the age of consent is 16yrs of age Nevada!

 The old saying was 14 will get you 20, and the she's jail bait( It's really not nice calling girls that guys, just say their under age) from others would stop you if you didn't know the age. Then as you hang out and party in bars I would always worry about the girl I've picked up wasn't 18 yet. I think since then they changed it to a gradual thing in NY. As long as your within 3 yrs or something like that so the teens have it easier now.  I'll be the first to admit now a days I cant tell a woman's age if they are 16 or 21 or 28 because they all get plastic surgery and are more physically fit and aggressive than they use to be. The average breast size of woman has gone to a 34 c from 32 b, and woman have more developed muscle than they use too.

But if a girl tells you they are 15,  14 or 13 online and first of all you don't  warn her not to talk to people older than her online, then end the conversation right away. Then, you still want to travel a 100 miles, you have a wife and kids of your own, your a Rabi or anyone of these things, your sick, or your an idiot, a fool or worst yet, like the Rabi that got caught you have a god complex, your going to hell, most likely, right behind Michael Jackson in my opinion, with the Judges that let sex offenders off with probation. I really think you should be tattooed and microchiped, and wear a GPS tracking device the rest of your life and be injected with a radio active isotope with a half life of at least a hundred years, one that will make you set off Geiger counters and radiation alarms and maybe make you glow in the dark or under ultraviolet light after being jailed at least one year for every year under the age of consent the girl you where suppose to meet was alleged to be and put on probation 1 yr for every year you are over the age of 30 the age you should be wise enough to know better than to do stupid or foolish things or 1 year probation for every year you are married or have kids of your own because you should be thinking of them first at all times.

You know when I was 15,16, 17,18 and older I wouldn't even consider talking with a 13 or 14 yr old.( None of my buddies would either, the guys that would where black guys, they want to get the woman early while their still virgins. It's not once you go black you don't go back. It is if get the virgin they are hooked for life, which really gets a lot of over bearing parents that get their girls to be good girls and stay virgins burnt. Because a black youth or Mexican or Arab youth comes along, same MO for all, take it from me I've had Mexican friends, black friends, and Arab friends they all want the young virgin. They talk about it all the time (look at 9-11 they wanted virgins in heaven) and if they are from another country it's customary and normal in Mexico( just like child kidnapping happens all the time in Mexico), Africa and Asia.

This guy takes your daughter's virginity and the girl thinks she's in  love with black or Mexican, Arab so she's stuck supporting various guys the rest of her life if she doesn't come down with HIV first because her boy friends are in a high risk group. Hey if you want your kid to marry a certain race make sure she or he loses their virginity to that race.( Sounds racist, but I don't care who your daughter loses her virginity too, but you probably do!) You want them to lose it early before the unexpected happens.( Again sounds wrong but if they bottle it all up to long their just going to fall for the first guy that takes their virginity). If they want to date black with the nappy hair you can't touch or other draw backs after losing their virginity to another race, they might just love the person for who they are and not because their first sex was black. I mean their are people that say I cant be racist I'll date what ever race equal opportunity( I have done this) or I'll just date my race( I have done this).

Then their are people that are stuck on one race no matter what happens( like the homos are stuck on the same sex, your not going to convert them straight by marring one or dating one, I have a cousin she married a closet Homo and is divorced now, her sister married black guy again and again and again, practically killed her father in my book, her father was a great guy, he was never the same after the first black guy took his daughters' virginity at 13, her father had a federal fires arm license and sold guns and I'm surprised he didn't make the guy eat the barrel, but turning all the rage inward ended up with him having his aorta burst and having to be replace with plastic and his heart value replaced also,( the next guy, a white guy that got one of his daughter pregnant didn't far as well though and took a beating, but manned up, married his daughter and they have kids and are doing good for a long time now) also actually the guy she's married to now a huge fat black guy is a really good guy, they all live in Syracuse now, another story, you don't want to waste any of your time on these people if it is your not your race they are stuck on, think ten foot pole and don't get duped into being friends with them or marring one, because they will just keep going back to the well, they can't help it, its a compulsion, it may not be judged as normal or it may be judged normal depending on the political environment or morals of the time you live in, but you can't change them, so don't break the ten foot pole rule ever.

The Ugly!

 A Missouri Judge let a pedophile child rapist that rapped a 9 yr old girl out on probation when the prosecutor asked for 15 yrs prison sentence. In my opinion only a child molester rapist judge would let a child molester rapist walk without any jail time. If he sentenced the molester to jail he would have to see his own sickness in himself and since he probably thinks he is above the law he made a decision that shows his contempt for the law and all that want child molesters like himself in jail.

FBI recommended procedures to investigate complaints about police woman, police men,  police officer misconduct for use by small police departments.*

What a stinking way to end a New Year shooting a mentally disturbed man dead. This happened on 12/31/2006.  A  Rookie Erie NY county sheriffs' deputy shot and killed a man after his partner was either knocked down or stumbled on uneven ground and a disturbed man came at him with a knife. They say that a man can cover 12 ft and stab you before you can draw your gun, so shooting someone dead when they only have a knife is an approved method by most police departments. But most police officers now sport bullet proof vest that are also resistant to knife penetration, so a baton, or another a less lethal method such as a tasser or pepper spray would have probably defused this situation( this is when you use these less than lethal options). You don't use them to subdue non- violent black woman mouthing of to you sitting in there car asking for your badge number (video). This person had a history with the cops and the experienced cop probably knew that and better.  The kid freaked and shot the guy 3 times instead of one, he is not still in Iraq and while he might have been in his rights, I wouldn't be putting this guy back on the street anytime soon. They are saying 2 days, that ridiculous. He should go through some 2 or 3 months of consoling with a therapist and do indoor duty, maybe work with kids in Dare for a while, a little life affirming duty. This will assure his mental well being and the general publics safety, the guy might turn out to be a good cop that way.

I have to add two words to my comments above situational awareness what this means is these cops should have know better than to confront this man in the woods at his mothers house. They should have waited for him to come out in the open on the street or driveway. Also, if they knew he had a metal problem instead of barking commands at him they should have softened their stance and not agitated him and called for backup with less lethal methods available to them. It was not a situation in which anybodies lives' where in jeopardy until the police confronted him.
