FYI
Chicago off duty police officer beats woman bartender after she cuts him off
for being too drunk. Look you would get medical attention if you get
shot, you would get medical attention if you caught pneumonia, this cop was
a Vietnam veteran. To get to where he is now, years of abuse and cover-up
and non-treatment for what ever this guys problem is had to happen. Us men
in general have to learn to use the resources available to us, especially in
high stress occupations like police, armed services and other first
responders, don't let your buddies carry on like this without getting help,
don't carry on like this your self without getting the consoling and health
care that can keep this from happening to you or worst
tearsofacop.com
With proper help this would have been a private department matter between
him and his cop buddies, now its all over the place and theirs no
alternative but to fire him and all his service in the past is down the
drain and there is a stain on the Chicago department.
I am going to ask this Question. What? Keep in mind I
generally like the officers on the Buffalo police department. The Buffalo
Mayor got on TV last week and warned the Buffalo police officers not to go threw with
any rumored sick out of last weekend, with March Madness® and the Saint
Patties Day parade happening, and today he said they are going to court to seek
fines from the court for the actions of the 24 Officers from the NW division, that they
said staged a illegal sick out after being warned not too.
Personally I believe everyone is entitled to get paid as
much money as they can get, and I'm not necessary against a job action, but
timing and public safety and the fall out of public sentiment would dictate
that on what is probably the highest profile tournament
NCAA®
March Madness®
in
The USA Next to the NFL® Playoffs and the Super Bowl®
that Buffalo is hosting and every cop should
show up to work and show they are a part of the community they are suppose
to police and leave the job action to a time when it would get the support
of the people of Buffalo and not endanger them.
The only person that comes out Looking Good in this whole
situation, is the New Buffalo Mayor, he has been fair, he gave a warning, he
said this was not the right time with
NCAA®
March Madness®
and the
Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Buffalo, even stated public
sentiment for the Buffalo police is running high and that most people can
support their position (which would indicate he can see it too) and now
instead of going off half baked he's asking the courts to determine if the
officers violated the Taylor law and to punish them if they did.
It doesn't matter either way what the courts rule. The
mayor has just made the statement.
I am now the boss, I
run Buffalo, I expect you to do your job and be held accountable to me, my
office, the rule of law and, the legislator, the courts and the general
public.
So far this mayor has managed garner public support
because he has addressed the obvious with fixing potholes in 48 hrs and
working on making government employees accountable, including the police
department, but it is more than any other Mayor in recent history since
Jimmy Griffin( Jimmy got things done, but didn't necessary follow the rule
of law in my Opinion).
So far this Mayor is Batting a 1000 on his campaign
promises.
The other day they had a group of US solders on 60 minutes
not in Uniform that are miss applying a statue in my book that is meant to
stop war crimes by allowing solders a redress without retaliation.
What I could gather was most of them didn't want to die or
see their Buddies die but I kept saying to myself they are not seeing the
big picture. If your in the armed services do your job everyday. If you die
isn't it better to die serving your country, than to die back home in a
traffic accident. (The amount of man power being deployed if they where home
in the US more would die in traffic accidents that are dieing in Iraq or
Afghanistan).
You are doing
something with your life, be proud, if you can't kill anymore let someone
know (get consoling from a priest or therapist) and get conscientious
objector status and become a cook or a truck driver or a mechanic and help
your buddies that way (if you can't kill you are going to compromise your
buddies) and if you are already a doctor doing that like the one guy, shut the
f up, your not out their killing anyone, you should be court marshaled.
If you want to
buy and ship care packages or items needed directly to soldiers in harms way, just go to

2 woman and 7 men
and a dog are rescued from Mount Hood
because they where not complete fools, every member of the
party had a
Mount Hood Locator beacon on them and with a cell phone to report they
need help on
there person. This allowed
rescuers to get to them fast
and alive.
It is a
less accurate than the Emergency Position Indicating
Radio beacon (EPIRB)
but at $5 to rent, it is major stupidity if you don't rent one.
$5 to save your life!
(Can you believe 3 men's families
don't have them around anymore because they died a couple of months ago on
Mount Hood because of $5-15 dollars not spent by them!)
The rescued walked down on their own
2 feet from the mountain lead by rescuers.
If you want to climb a mountain
especially in the winter time your a fool if at least one person your roped
off too doesn't have a
MHLU, or more
advanced location devices. Also with the advent of GPS every climbing
group should have one on them for emergency mode use in white out conditions
and safe routes should be established for each side of the mountain
with waypoints available online over the web and these should be the routes
searchers traverse and operate and check first and often when contact
can't be made.
A Climbing Fool and his life are soon departed.
How large dose a mans ego have to be to make him want to climb Mount Hood in the winter time? In my personal opinion, I bet each one of those guys drive a
Porsche®! Great car! Nothing like German Engineering but we all know the saying, buy one if you got the money. The Porsche
word mark and Porsche crest are registered trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is a company registered at Stuttgart, Registriergericht HRB 5211.
These men are not heroic they are idiots, and now one is confirmed
dead, and the rest are assumed dead GRHS, pray for the families( I don't like to speak bad of the dead, but I was caught in mid sentence). The men rescuing them are heroic, our troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and serving everywhere are heroic. The man that froze to death trying to save his family after they took a wrong turn in their car a couple of weeks ago, he was a man, a heroic figure.
They close roads at high altitudes in the winter, they even close them around Buffalo NY. There is a road right next to
Kissing bridge ski resort (where, yes I learned to ski a long time ago) that I like 4 wheeling up and over the hill or mountain in the summer. It is even closed after a good rain in the summer. Why isn't that mountain closed to everyone in the winter. The only reason that you would climb Mount Hood in the winter is your to much of a girl to go climb Mount Everest in the winter. You climb Mount Everest in the summer or during climbing season and if you get in trouble your most likely going to die for your forty thousand dollars, even the other climbing parties won't rescue you because they want to make the summit.
You climb Mount Hood and mess up your get a 1-30 millions dollars spent on you by the government including the air national guard trying to save you. While this might be good training for the military (remember 4 years ago ANG black hawk helicopter was lost while trying to rescue someone from Mount Hood), it's a waste of money for the local police and emergency workers and they shouldn't be involved at all with the search (but of course they are, we are Americans after all) unless they are volunteering on their day off without being paid with the other volunteers and MRA that are most likely climbing enthusiast. In Fact if you are not a climber. Do not call the Portland mountain rescue unit and volunteer to help rescue these fools, your help is not needed. (The local sheriff's office is wasting their manpower on these fools). Also everyone's saying these climbers are so experienced, everyone now knows that for around $700 you can buy and register a Emergency Position Indicating
Radio beacon (EPIRB) that where previously only available for use out at sea that once registered and subsequently activated during an emergency will allow you to be found in a matter of hours by International Satellite System For Search and Rescue in a matter of minutes or hours and rescued within no time, which only goes to prove they are reckless fools. Nobody should be allowed up any mountain without one person in the climbing party having the locater on them. It should be federal law!

The Bad...
Studies have shown that the
leading cause of death in work zones in the length of the lane
closures.
The longer the lane closer the higher the probability of death of workers
or vehicle occupants. It's not the speed of traffic in the zone.
Pennsylvania for the longest time had the highest fatality rate of any state
when it came to work zone accidents and deaths. When information was
gathered as to why, they found that they not only had extremely long lane
closures, they used concrete barriers on both sides of the open lanes so
when a truck would approach stopped traffic or slowed traffic and misjudged
they would plow into the back of the line because there was no way to turn
out of the way. So they implemented 2 changes. They no longer funnel traffic
thru sets of concrete barriers and they no longer have work zones longer
than a couple of hundred yards. Needless to say they are no longer the state
with the highest work zone fatality or accident rates, they aren't even
close.
This leads me to ask why
route 219 had lane closures in place for over ten miles in length for over 4
months in a row and 95% of
the time no one out their working. Most know that road was in the
best shape of any road in western NY and probably didn't need to be repaved for
another ten years. In fact I suspect the newly resurfaced 219 surface life
expectancy is less than half of what it would have been if they left it
alone. They could have used the new asphalt to pave 2 lanes to PA
instead of lining the pockets who ever has the contract for the job. This
leads me to ask what kind of kick back a cherry job like this commands
50%?
This is besides the point. It is negligent and highly unethical when
local, state and federal governments and the police let companies working on
roadways jeopardize the life's of the driving public by allowing killing
zones like these to be in place so they can generate double ticket
revenue in the courts. They
know work zones should only be a couple hundred yards long at most.
The construction company should do the work. Finish the work. Then move on
and make a new work zone. This way
everyone is safe. The only problem with safe work zones is it
means driver's obey the law more often than not. They don't get frustrated
by having to drive 45 MPH in a usually 65 MPH zone for what seams like an
eternity, but actually is around 10-15 miles when their is nobody working on
the road, or when there are people working on the road. A scams a scam and
the public knows what is what.
I once drove to Las Vegas and lived their a 1 year and drove back to
Buffalo. I had to go thru Denver and their inner and outer interstate loop,
it had work zones signs all the way around the city. I saw about 50 cars
pulled over by the police while on the system. When I stopped for gas,
I asked what gives? They said the work had finish almost a year ago but they
never took the signs down, so the cops are out their screwing the public.
When I came back threw almost 1 years latter moving back to WNY the signs
where still up and the cops where still out ticketing people almost 2 years
after the road work was over. The
only thing I can say about this abhorrent behavior is at least they weren't
jeopardizing peoples lives with fake lane closures.
Nobody would believe the long lane closures where justified in Denver
as in WNY RT 219 nobody believes
the extremely long lane closures on RT219 are or where justified or needed
in WNY,
even if pigs could fly and we all believed the road needed repaving right
now!
Guns are for cowards.
This is why I say
guns are for cowards, 30 yrs ago this youth would have lost his temper
and got into a fist fight with these cops... (actually he probably would have
ran away) or would have done nothing because the cops would have had
guns and he wouldn't have had a gun and the idiot thug of a youth would have
spent the night in jail, ended up in jail for a couple of weeks or on
probation and everyone would have gone on with their lives as usual, but
because the proliferation of illegal guns and teens with guns everyone's
life can end in a split second and two cops lives have changed
forever, along with the stupid teen's,
guns give every coward
out there the guts they don't have in them. It takes a real man and
heroic actions to run at someone that is shooting at you and take him down,
but any coward or
clown can pop a few bullets out at someone, it's a cowardly act, it's
not Macho, it doesn't prove anything, illegal guns just make it to easy to
kill in anger.
This is also why I say your a
better man than me
if your a good cop. I wouldn't be able to stop if I had charged that gun
totting teen and if I was a cop and I had a gun on me, I would have pulled
it out and shot the perp dead in anger for shooting my partner and I in the
neck. I would have shot the perp even after pinning the thug down on the
ground. That teen would be laying their dead too. That's why a cops job is
so tough!
Since the perpetrator is in custody and not out and wanted, I refuse to
mention his name on this site with these brave cops.

The Ugly!
A couple of Months ago I made the Argument
below that an ethanol plant in the city
of Buffalo on the waterfront was a bad idea. After seeing the meeting on the
TV news I have changed my mind. First they are going to use existing Grain
elevators that have been empty for at least 20 yrs, also the rail
infrastructure is already in place, next the site is not on the lake front
directly, and also from what I gather ethanol plants don't really pollute
and we have to lesson our dependency on Arab oil.
If we could replace the oil we get from the Arabs with ethanol, we wouldn't
be forced to worry about what they do in the Middle east. The only thing I
would require them to do is to excavate the site so that the whole site is
below ground level and all ethanol holding tanks or processing tanks or
equipment is below the level of the existing 1st ward neighborhood, this way
if their is a industrial accident or the tanks explode the blast would be
forced upward and the neighborhood would not be leveled by the blast.
The only real question I have does ethanol decrease our dependency on
foreign oil. To grow corn farmers use fertilizers that are oil bases
products, so they are using crude oil to grow corn. I suspect that we may
use more energy in the form of fertilizer to grow the corn used to produce
ethanol but because of government farm subsidize and tax brakes to ethanol
plants all we are doing is taking tax dollars and making others rich without
reducing our dependence on Arab oil because it takes Arab oil to produce the
fertilizers and all or this is just smoke and mirrors and slight of hand and
we are not reducing oil Arab dependency.
How long has it been
know that the Buffalo Water front has been vacant? 20 Yrs? 30 yrs? It has
been vacant all that time. I will say because the dream is as WNY converts
from a industrial manufacturing center our expectations are that the
waterfront can and should be developed as the future with waterfront sport
recreation and housing as the draw. I am going to say look at the Chicago
waterfront in addition to Baltimore, Cleveland and other success stories.
But now I see on the
Buffalo News today some business concern has Just brought 23 acres on the Buffalo
waterfront for the stated purpose of building an ethanol plant. If this is
allowed to happen instead of increased property values and looking forward
to a future, Buffalo will be plunged back into a smelly old rust belt city
with declining property values, a worthless waterfront, a possible inferno at
our door steps.
I say instead of
letting another industrial complex set up shop in Buffalo and waste the land,
the water and development space. (The least they could have done is set up shop in Lackawanna
there is already 1000 of acres of polluted land lying there that cant be
used for anything but ethanol, gas or oil refining unless first reclaimed at
cost that has been to high in the past and has not been done and likely
never will).
I say we have to send them a message, no tax breaks, no infrastructure
improvements, no pollution waivers, no zoning variances. Not in our back
Yard!
What am I saying, I
should say: Not in our front Yard! The water front is prime property
just ask Donald Trump!
This is stupidity to
the highest degree. The amount of jobs those wasted 23 acres will produce is
about 2 jobs per acre as an ethanol plant. That's less than the 4 cows an
acre that could be supported if used as farm land. Each acre could also feed
200 people rice grow on it for a year. That much space in NYC would employee
at least 200,000 people. I say we donate the land to Trump as a gift and let
him do what he wants with it. In 30 yrs I'm sure he will have done more good
than the bureaucrats have done in the last 30 yrs.
No Renewable Fuel Production Tax Credit that makes
New York companies eligible to receive a tax credit for each gallon of
renewable fuel they produce. This initiative, which is part of the
governor's energy independence plan, provides up to $2.5 million in tax
savings per year, per facility.
Why when a store is painting their parking lot and they
are required by NYS law and
ADA
and even if they aren't required by law, why
wouldn't they make it easy for their disabled customers to park, exit and
enter their cars by providing a
access
isle for each handicapped parking space...

police officer, cop.
State
Supreme Court Justice Amy Jo Fricano's was arrest for driving while ability
impaired on hydro codone aka: Oxycodine the same pills Rush Limbal was
abusing( In NY the highest court is the appeals court, not the NY
supreme court, it's confusing if your from any other state or have never
been in a NY court) .
Hold on to your seats I am going to
defend this Judge.
I'm not saying that she shouldn't have of been arrested, the cops covering
it up and not arresting her would be a problem and the Niagara county
Sheriffs office did the right thing, but the thing about being impaired is
you often aren't making your best judgments while you are impaired. I can
understand how someone who is in pain can take a medication for the first
time or on an empty stomach or when they are tired and find them selves
behind the wheel not being able to control the car.
When you find yourself in this situation you should stop and pull over and
call for a ride and anyone who is drunk or on pills and does this should be
allowed to go their merry way none the worst for wear because they are being
responsible.
We all know this would not be the case though if the police see you parking
the car then stumbling around, it's a different story. This Judge might of
been pulling over to do just that when she hit the pole in the City of
Lockport and then said to herself: Who would believe me? Then after calling
to report the incident decided to leave where she then got pulled over by
the police. This is why Zero tolerance doesn't really make sense, but then
again if this Judge practices Zero tolerance she should get zero tolerance,
but if she is a fair judge and this was the case mercy is called for and a
little drug addiction education is called for also.
Also since I am in pain almost all of the time myself and at one time
everyday I woke up I felt like I'd rather be dead than in pain. I can see
where people get desperate and maybe addicted, you get depressed and if you
don't get Prozac or lexapro or something and a doctor prescribes a pain
killer that dulls the senses along with the depressed feeling some people
might get hooked like Rush Limbal.
Me myself after the first time I took a heavy hitter like that. I
couldn't stand the feeling of dullness and being in a fog. It was
like being a 14 yrs old kid stoned on pot.
I wouldn't take the drug and asked my doctor for something that didn't make
me feel stoned. It's a weaker drug Tramadol, but It doesn't dull the
senses or make you feel stoned or impair your function, that with something
for the depression caused by pain all the time and finally the propranolol to
control the affects of the overproduction of adrenaline from the pain and
panic attacks has on your heart, blood pressure and arthritis I feel almost
normal.
The main thing is I am not impaired or in a fog or hooked on a heavy drug. I
hate that! I like to be in control of my faculties. I remember back even 25
yrs ago when I drank. I didn't drink to get a buzz. It was a stupid macho
thing, like a drinking game, who ever drank the most that night and was the
last to pass out won, it was a weekly contest between me and my buddies, I
didn't even like to drink.
I guess that's why studies have show there's no higher incidence of
alcoholism associated with young adult collage age binge drinkers than
people who didn't binge drink or drink at all at that age. So in all reality
taking a tough stance on youth drinking not associated with driving, only
serves to enrich the coffers of courts and alcohol treatment centers and
serves to criminalize our youth, the criminal record will stay their long
after your youthful fondness of binge drinking has passed.
You know I'm thinking to myself where do I know this Judges
name from.
This is 20 hrs after I wrote first about this judge. Then It came to me. I have
heard story, after story of this Judge. In my Opinion I recollect it goes
like this. If your a male you don't want to end up in her court, she will
castrate you, deeming you, not listen to your side of the story and throw
you butt in jail and put you on probation forever, if it's a divorce
proceeding your really screwed. No mercy for any man that goes thru her
court, when Rush Limbal coined the term Femi Nazi he might have been
thinking of this Judge, seems ironic they have both done Oxycodine. You
know your a hanging Judge when people the next county over talk about you.
Amazingly I knew 4 men that have felt her wrath in court, all where in
sales( actually one guy was up in front of her for running an escort
service, the other was a divorce in front of her and the others I cant
remember the situation so take what they said for what it's worth), some
people might even like a judge to be a tough on crime judge.
Me personally If I hear of someone getting sentenced to 3 yrs in jail for
shoplifting their first offence at the Galleria mall in a Cheektowaga court.
I tend to think that judge is off their rocker or a racist if its a black
person from buffalo, or is on a power trip, you know down state involuntary
vehicular manslaughter will get you 1-3 yrs in jail, so use that for a
comparison.
