Christ said there is no greater love than a man have than to give his life for his brother (Original translation). Most people interpret that to mean, die for your brother. I am more inclined to think he meant a life in service to others (Christians believe in eternal life) such as Police, Fireman, Solider, Nurse, Doctors, Clergy, teachers and out of those Firemen are more likely to Die for strangers, solders die for there fellow soldiers and country and lastly Police officers die for there mistakes trying to keep themselves alive while keeping the public safe. All honorable careers. This is why so many fireman died(353) on 9-11. God bless the NYFD! Christ also said in my fathers house there are many rooms when asked which is more important works or faith. Meaning the more Good works you do on Earth the better your accommodations in heaven, but you can still get into heaven just by believing in Christ, GOD. The first will be least and the least will be first. Means the High and mighty that demand respect will be the last to get into heaven and the lowly humble man will be the first in. They give gifts to make themselves important in the eyes of man. When you throw a feast invite the beggars the homeless the destitute and feed them, do not put yourself above others. When you give or do good do not proclaim or let others know, instead of doing good for the gratification yourself in front of men, do it anonymously without credit and you are doing it for God. About sex, when Christ was asked should a priest be celibate he replied. If it is possible but unless the men is a unic (homo with balls cut off) he has needs, so let him take a wife. |

When asked what is the greatest commandment. Jesus said. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. Non- Christian, Non-Jewish or Non-Muslims may not agree. A second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ( This is the Golden Rule and the foundation of our western civilization). I am told 21 religions agree on this. Instead of Jihad and war all the time Christians where able to get things done in mostly peace! The Islamic extremist want to turn the clock back a couple of thousand years! About unnatural sex acts the Bible says that is forbidden, is a man lying with animal as an abomination, and that when the Angle went to Sodom and Gomorra to get Lots family all the men and woman lusted after him and wanted to fornicate and have orgies and Felicia with him because of his beauty. Thus the prohibition of homo sexuality, lust, vanity, bestiality, oral and anal sex as sins and the reason for God destroying both cities. Also the warning I see about prostitution is that you might get a knife in your back and die in shame from a disreputable person, during a disreputable act, so do not go their! The bible says settle your matters with your neighbors and find a solution on your own, lest like a fool you be dragged up in front of the judge for all your business to be known in front of your neighbors and strangers, so my first instinct no matter how unjust the accusation or even if it a outright lie is to settle out of court. Also the Bible makes for many arguments for serving your country, from give Cesar what is Casers, to Corinthians 2 where Paul makes an argument for soldieries' doing their duty and also Kind David and Goliath, also Christ healing for, and calling a Roman soldier honorable and just. Also It is not: Do not kill in the original translation, it is: Do not murder. Their is a difference. We kill for meat, defending ourselves and country. We murder out of malaise and hate. According to Christ and the Bible we should live from the grace of god, which is the new covenant Gospel for man as opposed to the letter of the law which is the old testament and the 10 commandments and Jewish law laws that where meant to protect people from washing in there own deifications and getting diseases from improperly processed meat and killing each other over jealousy. Those laws came from God or obviously a much more intelligent being than the people that where alive at that time and most people alive now. But punishing people by chopping off heads or limbs for minor crimes like the Islamic do is stupid, so lets not do it! Also it doesn't matter that the Jews killed Christ, if he didn't die and get resurrected we would all die and go to hell for our sins that are not forgiven, because he did not died! So don't hate the Jews or hate anybody else if you are a Christian. Also, love your enemy because that is the thing that sets apart Christians most from others. Paul says: Does not a murderer love his mother? Dose not a thief love his children? Dose not an adulterer love his children? If we are to be distinguished from non-Christians, let us love our enemies. I live by Gods grace so I don't have to keep reading the Bible every single day and trying to find meaning in it. You are not suppose to read the Bible in order to find justification for what you do, or think, but use it to guide you and to learn truth. I know how I am suppose to live my life and try to live it that way without having to pick up the Bible every day. I do good , I sin , I ask for forgiveness, and believe in a merciful god and Christ and Christ teachings. Also if your arguing over semantics when you read the bible or your minister or priest is trying to change the meaning of what is being said, its more of a sin than not knowing, in fact revelations warns that to twist the words of the revelations that your fate will be ten times as great as any imaginable. About children. Christ said rebuke the children not, for theirs is the kingdom of God-Heaven. Better that you not be born, than you hurt a child. Thus the worst fate is reserved for child abusers and child sexual predators. Christ instructed the quantity of mercy is mercy its-self. If you show no mercy to others don't expect any mercy from god for yourself! About praying Christ said do not chant (no chanting) or repeat( means no rosary) like the heathens do instead say. Our father, who are in heaven, Give use this day, our daily bread.... Amen. Also it is said in The Bible judge not, lest you be judged. Personally I think the worst sin is providing false witness, lying or distorting the truth by falsely accusing someone of wrong doing or breaking the law. Also falsely testifying in court. That said: I ask forgiveness if I am miss interrupting the bible Lord. Here's a hard one. When asked how many times should I forgive my brother 7 or 70 times and wash my hands of him? Christ responded. You should forgive your brother every time and help him every time, and pray that he changes. |
