Cops, Police, Deputy, Sheriff, Trooper, Police Officers, Copper sneaks...

So far with this incident I have yet to have to appear in court. I am told that the issuing officer has not turned in the original of the ticket and they can't proceed. If this is true. I will chalk this incident up to him having a bad day, realizing his position  was wrong and manned up by not pursuing the matter.

I can respect that. I have also began parking my truck to make sure I only block one access area.  Hey I'll meet anybody halfway! I like to examine all side of an argument.

Then I told him my former business partner was a Gavlivan a relative of the former sheriff.

He yells he ain't going to do me any good now. Actually it was slight on my part because the guy had a drug problem and ripped our business off to fuel it, but this cop had no idea or did he. (I have run into my former partner in a Sub shop a couple of yrs ago and he looks like he got his life together, I always liked the guy, besides his shot comings) I also told the cop I could do with less attitude from him. He also pointed to a sign on the pole handicap van accessible under the handicap sign. I said  it dose not say handicap van only or exclusively, what is your point. He says: Your blocking possible us of a lift. I say there is  plenty of room to use a lift and I explained, if I don't park the way I do, people park in the access area. 90% of the time you don't ticket the people who stand, wait or park in the spots illegally and your harassing me? I also need the room to get into my F150.

I really don't have much respect for most of the Erie county sheriffs' because in my opinion they have had a long and illustrious record of setting people up for organized crime, in the hay day when they joined the teamsters, Local 451 I think, same one I was in one cop even set me up in my opinion when I had to much power when it came to votes and people listening to me where I was working. The Cop railroaded me and  arrested for something I didn't do, I knew  in my opinion he had a drinking problem and would drink in all the bars on transit when transit road bars where big in the early 80's. A bunch of days he is  trying to buy me a drink, which every time I refused because I didn't want to go over the limit and was driving and learned my lesson the hard way starting at 18yrs old on a new years eve, then a wedding, then a birthday, three times was the charm. This was just when madd was getting going the first time they didn't even yank my license for it( I didn't intend on driving but after I had a shot gun pulled on me at a party and I tried to disarmed the guy, we struggled both fell and he got up and jumped in a waiting car and left, we got word that they where coming back packing big time gunning for me, I didn't pack, actually back then nobody did unless you where really screwed up in the head, so I had to drive to get away fast (we where planning to stay the night, the girl who lived there went out with my best friend), I soon realized I was to inebriated to drive but when I when to pull over to let somebody else drive I hit ice and slammed into a tree(66 Catalina Convertible), the second time the penalty wasn't much either, I hit a cement barrier(73GTO) on rain slicked roads trying to avoid somebody else in the wedding party of my  buddies while going out after the reception, I didn't want to wreck into the other guys  New JEEP, but after the third time( 2 Buffalo woman Cops driving with there head lights off at night when I went to pass some old people and almost head on the woman cops, I lit it up to about 160mph (my 2nd 73GTO) and dusted them, but my buddy just got out of jail, (thus the drinking that day) and was on parole( his troubles never stopped the buffalo cops would try to pin anything that happened on him, finally he took my advice and moved and he almost never had a problem again) and was pleading for me to stop so I pulled over and waited, when they got there they accused my buddy of driving,( he had a rap sheet a mile long) I could of let him fry but I took the blame for what I did, anyways to make a long story short I told them I knew ***** when I was at the station, they told me you should have said something before we booked you and wrote the 40 tickets we would have let you go.  Anyways because I said I knew ***** and since ***** controlled all the ******* jobs( I use to do ***** security at ******* *******), they recommended to the DA and judge that they take it easy on me and I got my hand slapped, but I knew the next time I would be screwed because madd had taken its toll and it went from acceptable to not socially acceptable to drink and drive and to costly and to much possible penalty lifetime loss of license , so I didn't drink and drive anymore. I also had to much to lose, I had to take a bus or ride my bike to the job when I first started at Nehi, I had nothing,( I didn't even have a drivers license my first 2 months working their, hey they only asked once and I fake reached for my wallet and they said its alright and I never pulled my wallet out of my pocket) and wasn't about to loss this job for drinking, a good job making big money, and because I had money I would call a cab when needed if I drank.( I am not going to make excuses for my Dui's in my youth it was foolish, but studies have shown that youth and collage age binge drinkers, have no higher incidence of alcoholism than the general population when older, I also had the worst luck in my youth, I got a dui 3 times out of 5 times I drank and drove, wrecked 2 of those times and got a dui once when I didn't drink anything but near beer) I called a cab a couple of times, but a few weeks later  this sheriff is arresting me for DUI I didn't do, ( In My Brand New 86 T-Bird) dui( Lets put it this way I am probably the only person ever convicted of a driving while impaired for drinking near beer, I was out at Champions that Wednesday celebrating the fact that Nehi had just got the Tops private label account after the company had come to me first looking for a my support of a $.30 a case commission instead of the normal commission on 2 liters. I agreed and thought it was a good deal and told everyone to go with it in a vote. It had been a long day and I hadn't got any sleep so I left my American Express card open for my buddies to drink on and left after a couple of near beers/non-alcohol). I was tired as all heck and had to work in the morning.

This frame up cost me a job I made $1500 a wk at in 1983, actually it's my opinion he set me up because of the people I worked for specifically a Guy named S*****( he had come up to me about a month before and told me don't f*** with my son Mark (I will get you), the stupid thing, was I was always defending Mark with the other independent distributors, and actually like the guy, he was smart), everyone use to call me the doctor as a joke because I they found out I was  actually premed in collage, and everyone enjoyed that irony of me being and doing the same as them, also I was always the problem solver between management and distributors, I got things done, I even lead them to a win against Ghor at the company softball game, that did more for moral, the first time they ever won against the mighty Ghor, since Ghor took them over, after that these guys where unstoppable at work, just like I was, I am ) or other union interest probably paid the sheriff off. When your being booked and all the other sheriffs deputies are going. Why are you doing this, this  guys not drunk, at least ten of them said it that that night and ten more that morning said it's bull that I was in there to me when I got up at 8 am .  I wanted a breath test but never got one, I was waiting in the cell and the next thing I know I am waking up in the morning at 8am not ever getting one.

This cop, was a captain, so what was anyone going to do, I knew what the was going on, in my opinion a crooked cop doing his crooked deed and back then I still had a long future,  so I just kept my mouth shut and took the bad medicine.  Work knew what happened when I walked into work the next day, that how fast stuff gets around. The cop could of yanked my license (because of my prior dui's), but didn't a mistake that probably pissed off his masters. The cop was mad when he found out that he could have yanked it, he even came down to RC Plant  and bitched at me before work one day at a latter time.  You think they withheld payment because of that? Why believe what I am saying, well since most ******* jobs go to sheriffs then as now, all I had to say is I know ***** back then and I would have walked unless the cop was setting me up which I presume was the case in my opinion, you decide.

 Funny thing was I saved that companies (Nehi) butt, by giving it credibility even then people new I was a straight shooter, hard working and honest to a fault. Most people new me from working for the competition on my days off of school and full time in summer. I regained more accounts for Nehi and turned around  routes, people had so much trust in me they decided to give the other guys a chance after being known for stealing from stores blind. When I first started working for them people would go your with RC now get the hell out of my store. It took me lots of persistence and about six months of making nothing before I saw a change.  After I got rolling they actually had to split my route 5 times and I was still ruining 2 trucks a day and making $1500 a week( really big money in the early 80's) even though they cut commissions by 70%. The company went belly up along with the Ghor beer distributorship and the Indy cars and 65 corvettes the owners had a couple of years after I left( the owners probably came away with big money though) because I was  set up and forced to find a new state to live in after fighting the bogus charges un-successfully. I  got tried of all the crooked cops, and there dirty work and there bosses and the patsies.

When I came back to the Buffalo area I figured everything would have changed for the better with the times, I had,  but actually I think in some ways it is worst.

 Nothing changes that much in WNY that's why everyone leaves.

The sheriff department under the last former sheriff Gavlivan wasn't much better mostly because he wanted to please all his subordinates.

I had High hopes now since the new Sheriff Howard got elected because he was a career NYS trooper and from what I heard he might have integrity, but I don't know if anyone can change what goes on in most Erie county police departments.

This  Erie County Sheriff's Deputy Wrote me a Ticket because he most likely Judged my disability to be  not up to his standards.

Notice the access lanes or areas on each side of my truck.( It is illegal to Park within in them, within them is the operable word: Notice my truck is parked not within them.) He didn't write me up for that anyway, he said I was parked in two spots.  Police never ticket people for parking there cars in the access spaces, so  I angle my truck to keep people from parking in the access spaces but it still allows use of the access space for loading and unloading people and also allows the use of Handicap van ramps and the opening of and closing of doors of the next handicapped space over. You would be surprised by the number of people that park in these access spaces both handicapped and non handicapped. Regal Quaker Crossing Theaters is the worst with Moms in Mini Vans waiting in these spaces for their and their friends kids to come out of the movies. I can understand the Handicapped people parking there even though it is annoying because many stores do not have handicapped enough spaces. I always park this way here and normal cops wave or stop and say hi while checking for the my handicapped hanger.

Notice plenty of room between my truck and this car. This cops telling me I am blocking handy cap lift access is bull.
